Atalanta’s Ademola Lookman rejects call-up amidst PSG interest | OneFootball

Serie A side Atalanta have received another huge blow ahead of their League opener as Ademola Lookman has refused to be called up to the squad for the game against Lecce.

Lookman did start for the side against Real Madrid and got a hattrick against Bayer Leverkusen in the Europa League final.

La Gazzetta dello Sport have reported that PSG asked for information from Lookman’s entourage about the player, who has asked not to be called up for the squad against Lecce.

The winger’s entourage has informed Atalanta about the interest from PSG, with the player quite open to the idea of a move. His desire to not get called up indicates his strong desire for the move.

Teun Koopmeiners has already asked for an exit and isn’t training. Gianluca Scamacca is already out due to an ACL injury and Nicolo Zaniolo is out due to an injury issue.
