Atalanta Talisman Insists ‘Only Inter Milan’ & No Premier League Switch | OneFootball

Ademola Lookman is reportedly insisting on a move to Inter Milan, and has no interest in going to the Premier League.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews.

Atalanta are clearly hoping to sell forward Ademola Lookman for as much as possible.

To that end, La Dea have been awaiting for offers to arrive from abroad for the 27-year-old.

The Premier League would be a likely source of particularly lucrative bids. After all, the English top flight can boast far more cash than other leagues.

So far, only Inter have bid for Lookman. And Atalanta have turned down both of their opening offers.

Lookman himself, however, is absolutely dead set on joining Inter, reports the Corriere dello Sport.

The Nerazzurri have a full agreement with the Nigerian international. They have done for some time.

Furthermore, the Corriere note, Inter are not pursuing any other attacking targets.

This is partly to keep Lookman confident and happy, and ensure that other suitors don’t turn his head.

Inter coach Cristian Chivu has made Lookman a priority target. He is ready to change the team’s formation to suit the former Leicester City forward.

And at least for now, Lookman himself has given no indication that he’s considering other clubs.
