Serie A side Atalanta are keeping a close eye on the situation of Lyon star Rayan Cherki, who has attracted interest from many other clubs.

Lyon are in a dire financial situation and that is forcing them to sell their players. Quotidiano Sportivo have mentioned the same today, revealing that the midfielder is valued at about €18 million by the French giants.

La Dea are interested and are monitoring the 21-year-old, who is widely regarded for his technical ability. Atalanta are also interested in Everton’s Dominic Calvert-Lewin, with both Cherki and the Englishman seen as options who can bolster their attack this month.

Calvert-Lewin is looking to move from Goodison Park, with his current deal running out in the summer. Fiorentina have also been mentioned as an interested club and there is a possibility of the striker leaving this month. Atalanta believe that he can add something fresh to their current attack.
