WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Villans this afternoon.
It has been reported that Kearns has signed a three-year deal at Villa Park.
The 23-year-old midfielder joined Liverpool at the age of eight and she progressed through the club’s youth ranks all the way to the first team. Kearns has been a member of the Liverpool senior squad for the last six seasons and she has gone on to make over 100 competitive appearances for the club. The player was a Barclays Women’s Championship winner with Liverpool in 2021/2022.
Kearns’ long spell with The Reds has this afternoon come to an end with the player opting to join an ambitious Aston Villa side.
After adding Kearns to his squad, Aston Villa boss Robert de Pauw said “Missy Bo is a great asset for our team. She is a good player and has the potential to be a future leader. We are happy to have her in our squad. I see Missy as a dynamic, box-to-box midfielder. She is a good passer and also knows where to find the goal.
“Missy Bo has the potential and ability to become a regular England international.”
Kearns becomes Aston Villa’s six signing of the summer transfer window.
