Two more outbound transfers have been announced as Aston Villa’s summer window continues to creak into action.

Villa have confirmed that goalkeeper Oliwier Zych and Kosta Nedeljković will spend the 2025/26 season on loan. Both have been loaned out before and have had limited first team experience in B6.

21-year-old Zych has only featured in the EFL Trophy while Nedeljković, 19, has played five times in the Premier League.

Kosta Nedeljković returns to the Bundesliga

Nedeljković will stay at RB Leipzig, where he played ten times in the Bundesliga while on loan in Germany for the second half of 2024/25.

The teenage right-back joined Villa from Red Star Belgrade in January 2024 but stayed with his first club for the remainder of the 2023/24 season before linking up with the Villans in the summer and making his Premier League debut in August and appearing twice in the Champions League.

Villa sent him to Leipzig at the end of the January transfer window and he clocked up 479 Bundesliga minutes.

Nedeljković will be playing under a new manager. Ole Werner moved to Leipzig from Werder Bremen last month to replace Zsolt Lőw, who was himself Nedeljković’s second manager in Germany.

Leipzig declined a £9 million option to buy having missed out on European football.

Oliwier Zych heads for Poland

Zych has been loaned to Ekstraklasa outfit Raków Częstochowa for the 2025/26 season after spending last season as part of Villa’s first team squad, where he was named on the bench 18 times in all competitions.

The Gdynia-born goalkeeper returns to Poland having previously played on loan for Puszcza Niepołomice in 2023/24 and joins a club that ended last season just a point (and some goal difference) shy of their second Ekstraklasa title, ultimately finishing second and qualifying for the second qualifying round of the Conference League.

Zych joined Villa’s youth ranks from Zagłębie Lubin in 2020 and signed his first professional contract the following year. He extended his contract in 2022 and again in December 2024 but is yet to make his Premier League debut.
