AS Monaco to sign Cork City prospect David Dunne | OneFootball

AS Monaco are set to complete the signing of Cork City winger David Dunne (16), according to a report from L’Équipe.

Monaco have been recruiting plenty of young prospects already as they continue their youth-centric policy. That policy has been balanced this summer by the arrival of Eric Dier, whilst Sergio Reguilón is also a target for the Principality club. Like Dier, the Spaniard is available on a free transfer.

Dunne looks set to become the next player to join Les Monégasques on a free transfer. The winger, who often plays out on the left, played three professional games for Cork City in the Irish Premier League last season. He will not continue his development at Monaco, where he will integrate their prestigious youth set-up.

Monaco have targeted other promising youngsters such as Ismail Bamba (SM Caen), Anis Soubeir (FC Metz), Nahël Haddani (FC Montferrier), and Safouane Benzahra (NAC Breda).
