There is a good chance that Rodrygo Goes might not play again in La Liga for Real Madrid, with the 24-year-old forward getting sidelined with a fresh physical problem today and staring at an uncertain future.

Indeed, the Brazilian international is reportedly seriously considering the possibility of leaving Real Madrid in the summer having grown disappointed with his role and reduced prominence compared to the trio of Kylian Mbappe, Jude Bellingham, and Vinicius Jr.

If it comes to that, there appears to be no shortage of suitors for Rodrygo, mostly from the Premier League clubs like Liverpool and Manchester City.

Arsenal among the most interest clubs

Now, according to journalist Edu Burgos of AS, Premier League giants Arsenal are one of the clubs who have shown the most interest in signing Rodrygo from Real Madrid.

Indeed, Mikel Arteta’s Gunners are closely monitoring the 24-year-old attacker’s situation at the Santiago Bernabeu and in fact informal contacts have also taken place but nothing concrete at this point.

Arsenal struggled with injuries to their forwards this season, with Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus spending significant time out on the sidelines.

As such, they are in the market for a new striker and Rodrygo is seemingly being considered as a target.

However, as mentioned above, Arsenal’s rivals Manchester City and Liverpool are also in the fray for the forward’s services in the summer transfer window.

The Brazilian international’s contract with Real Madrid runs until 2028 and as such, the club will seek a significant sum for his departure, which is unlikely to be a problem for any of the interested Premier League giants.

With Arsenal said to be showing the strongest interest, it remains to be seen if they come out on top in this race or end up losing out to Liverpool like they did in the Premier League this season.
