Another Real Madrid star’s exit will be made official ‘between today and tomorrow’ | OneFootball

La Liga giants Real Madrid are preparing to bid an imminent farewell to an up-and-coming member of the club’s midfield ranks.

That’s according to Blancos insider Guillermo Rai, who points towards Mario Martín as the player primed to move on.

Youngster Martín has seen his name emerge as a prominent one in the transfer chatter across Spain over recent weeks.

This comes after word was forthcoming that a number of La Liga clubs were expressing an interest in the signature of the talented 21-year-old.

Aware of the long road ahead of him in hopes of securing regular first-team minutes at Real Madrid, Martín, in turn, opened the door to a potential departure.

And as alluded to above, if the latest word stemming from the media early this week is anything to go by, then as much now appears to be all but imminent.

As per a report from the reliable Guillermo Rai of The Athletic:

‘Martin Martin to Getafe is expected to be official between today or tomorrow. The Real Madrid midfielder will leave on loan with an option to buy.’
