Milan took the decision to end their journey with Sérgio Conceição, and they’ve already signed their next coach; it’s a familiar face – Allegri.

Massimiliano coached the Rossoneri from June 2010 to January 2014, leading them to the 18th Scudetto on his first season. He now returns to a Milan which are in a dire situation and just finished 8th.

New Director of Sport Igli Tare wasted no time and moved quickly to secure the services of Allegri, who last coached Juventus but spent the last campaign at home without a club. Yesterday was the decisive meeting between Tare, Allegri, CEO Giorgio Furlani, President Paolo Scaorini and agent Giovanni Branchini, and Max signed the contract with Milan.

As reported by Milannews.it, it’s a two-year deal with an optional for a third year worth around €5.5m per season. The official announcement is expected to arrive soon, and Allegri and the management will start preparing for the next campaign and plan the squad and transfer market.

In his first experience with the Rossoneri, Allegri coached Milan in 178 games, collecting 91 wins, 49 draws, 38 defeats, 303 goals scored and 178 conceded.
