Alexis Sánchez facing a new challenge in Turkey?

At 36, Alexis Sánchez could be on the verge of another turning point in his storied career. The Chilean forward, currently under contract with Udinese, has reportedly caught the eye of Fenerbahçe.

Having returned to Serie A in the summer of 2024 on a two-year deal with Udinese, Sánchez featured in 13 matches last season, starting six of them. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Fenerbahçe are ready to offer him a contract worth €4 million per year.

If he signs, Sánchez would reunite with José Mourinho, who is now managing the Turkish side. The pair previously worked together at Manchester United.
