Al-Nassr are reportedly ready to step up their pursuit of Arsenal’s Gabriel Martinelli with a substantial offer, according to 90min. The Riyadh club is said to be weighing an €85 million bid for the Brazilian international as part of their efforts to further bolster their attacking options this summer.

Martinelli, who is under contract with Arsenal until June 2027, drew significant attention last season by making 51 appearances across all competitions, scoring ten goals and providing six assists. His dynamism on the left flank and ability to contribute both in scoring and creating have made him a core figure for the Gunners as well as a regular selection for Brazil, for whom he has earned 18 caps to date.

The Saudi Pro League has recently become a destination for several high-profile players, with Al-Nassr already boasting the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Sadio Mané, and Marcelo Brozović. The pursuit of Martinelli signals the club’s intent to continue attracting international talent beyond Europe’s main leagues—a strategy underlined by their willingness to commit large sums in the transfer market.

While an €85 million proposal would demand serious consideration from Arsenal’s hierarchy, any potential deal would need to weigh Martinelli’s value within Mikel Arteta’s long-term plans as well as his fit within Al-Nassr’s project. It remains to be seen how the English club would respond to such an offer, given Martinelli’s established role and contract length.

For Martinelli, a move to Riyadh would mean joining an ambitious squad focused on domestic and continental success but would also mark a significant transition away from European football at the age of 23. With the summer window now open and Saudi clubs moving aggressively for new signings, a resolution on Martinelli’s future could arrive soon.
