Ajax forward heads for the door with one million euro exit | OneFootball

Christian Rasmussen looks set to leave Ajax for Fortuna Düsseldorf, as per De Telegraaf (via VoetbalPrimeur). In the event of an agreement, the Amsterdammers will receive around one million euros plus a resale percentage.

Rasmussen has been “of great interest to Fortuna Düsseldorf” in recent weeks. The 22-year-old Dane is one of the seven players at Ajax who are reportedly no longer involved in the first team. Fortuna Düsseldorf have “good hopes” of closing this deal soon.

“The move concerns a permanent deal, in which Ajax demands a considerable percentage of resale in addition to a transfer fee of approximately one million euros”, report De Telegraaf.

Ajax signed Rasmussen from FC Nordsjælland in 2019 for a fee of around three million euros. The right winger, who can also play as a striker, was an acquisition of former football director Marc Overmars and is under contract in Amsterdam until the summer of 2027.

Rasmussen’s time at Ajax looks to come to an end with just 25 matches with the first team, in which he scored two goals and registered two assists.
