Ahtinen and Summanen called up by Finland | OneFootball

Olga Ahtinen and Eveliina Summanen have been named in Finland’s national team squad for their UEFA Euro 2025 qualifiers in July.

Head Coach Marko Saloranta named his 24-player squad on Tuesday (2 July) as the Helmarit embark on their final two games of the qualifying campaign against Celin Bizet's Norway and Italy.

The first of those is on Friday 12 July (5pm UK) at the Veritas Stadium in Turku, Finland, as they welcome Norway in the penultimate game of their group before rounding it off with a trip to Italy on Tuesday 16 July (6pm UK).

Despite sitting fourth in the group, Finland are just three points behind leaders Netherlands and still have the possibility of finishing in the top two, which would secure their spot for EURO 2025 in Switzerland next summer.

Olga heads into the international break with 58 caps to her name and five goals, while Eveliina has made 62 appearances for her country, netting 15 goals in that time.
