The agent of Hakan Calhanoglu has cast doubt on the player’s future at Inter Milan amid ongoing negotiations with Fenerbahce.
Speaking to TRT Spor via FCInterNews, Gordon Stipic admitted Calhanoglu’s transfer to Istanbul is a distinct possibility.

Fenerbahce president Ali Koc is hellbent on signing the 31-year-old star.
The Canaries are trying to lure the Turkey captain to Istanbul by substantially increasing his salary.
Indeed, they are considering making the Turk one of the club’s highest earners with a €7.5m net per season.
Furthermore, Jose Mourinho’s men are ready to offer Calhanoglu the captain’s armband to sweeten the deal.
On the other hand, Inter can only sit and wait.
It’s worth noting that the player will meet with Beppe Marotta for showdown talks tomorrow.
That could be Inter’s last chance to talk Calhanoglu out of leaving, which, at this point, looks more likely.

Meanwhile, Stipic addressed the media in Turkey.
“There are many phone calls and conversations,” Stipic said. “There are also many reports, especially on digital media.
“They can happen, but this process should move forward with better communication among the decision-makers.”
Although Hakan Calhanoglu was present during the interview, he reportedly refused to speak.
That’s another ominous sign for the Nerazzurri faithful, as the player looks keen to leave Italy after eight years.
Indeed, Calhanoglu joined AC Milan from Bayer Leverkusen in 2017.
He swapped allegiances at San Siro in 2021 after refusing to extend his contract with the Rossoneri.
During his four-year stint at Inter, Calhanoglu has become one of the club’s most influential figures.
However, the time may have come for the Turk to move on.
In addition to Fenerbahce, Galatasaray may also make a late attempt to sign the ex-Milan ace.
