Fulham midfielder Andreas Pereira has made a stark assessment of Manchester City’s recent win at Craven Cottage.

The 28-year-old started last Saturday’s 0-4 loss to Manchester City in west London, as Pep Guardiola’s side extended their current winning streak and took another step towards clinching a record-breaking fourth consecutive Premier League title.

Recent wins over both Fulham and Tottenham in the capital have left Manchester City just three points away from a sixth Premier League title in seven years, with West Ham visiting the Etihad Stadium on Sunday afternoon to conclude the 2023/24 league campaign.

Manchester City thumped Marco Silva’s side last weekend, winning 0-4, courtesy of Josko Gvardiol’s brace and second-half goals from Phil Foden and Julian Alvarez.

The Sky Blues took the lead in the 13th minute after a superb individual goal from Gvardiol, with Foden’s 59th minute effort doubling Manchester City’s advantage at Craven Cottage.

The Cityzens extended their goal difference with two further goals, as Gvardiol scored his second at the back post, prior to Alvarez dispatching a late penalty past goalkeeper Bernd Leno.

Manchester City are unbeaten across all competitions since early December, and Fulham star Pereira has issued an honest assessment of the Blues’ current form.

“These guys take away your will of playing, your strength. It looks like adults versus children,” he told TNT Sports Brazil.

Fulham haven’t beaten Manchester City since April 2009, with the Cottagers having suffered 16 successive defeats to the Sky Blues.

City have beaten Fulham by an aggregate score of 9-1 this season, with the west London club also suffering a 1-5 loss at the Etihad Stadium in September, with Erling Haaland scoring a quick-fire second-half hat-trick.
