Against the Bianconeri, the Rossoneri showed defensive solidity but are looking to find the back of the net again after two goalless league matches. LATEST FROM EMPOLI Empoli have had a very good league campaign so far, and come into the clash at San Siro after a 1-1 draw against Udinese in the league. Roberto D'Aversa's team has shown good defensive organisation but are looking to enhance their offensive effectiveness. With the draw at home to the Friulani, they are now three games unbeaten: after a 1-1 draw away to Lecce and the 1-0 win over Como. Empoli have proved to be a tough team to beat. No one is suspended, but they will need to assess the conditions of a few players - like Fazzini - while Colombo could be included up front.

"We need to come away from San Siro with something to show," D'Aversa said. "We have to be determined and focused, positive and full of personality. On paper, AC Milan are the stronger side but we need to be brave."
