AC Milan are getting ready to face Como on Serie A Matchday 29, scheduled for 15 March at 18:00 CET at San Siro. Sérgio Conceição is hunting for precious points at this key point of the season. On the other hand, Como, under Cesc Fàbregas, will be looking to make it difficult for the Rossoneri, having lost to us 2-1 in the reverse fixture. Both squads are determined to improve their position in the table. Let's get ready for kick-off with our Match Preview.
LATEST FROM MILANELLO AC Milan are coming into this match off of a top 3-2 win against Lecce, showing our character and determination, coming back from 0-2 down. Conceição's team are growing and they want to improve their position in the table, by putting in a convincing performance against Como. From last Saturday to today, the Rossoneri have had a week to work and they have another key player back. After Florenzi returned to training, Ruben Loftus-Cheek is back available and he has been working with the group for the past couple days. The only unavailable player is still Emerson Royal. We have no suspended players but Musah is cautioned.
Conceição's words in the press conference: "I am happy with the group's attitude. The game against Como will be difficult and we do not need to think too far ahead. There is more joy and pleasure in working, the group are doing well and they have responded well in the last few weeks. The goal is to win a match against a great side, who are well-trained and have great quality. We must look at their strengths and their weaknesses, and then we must focus on ourselves".
LATEST FROM COMO Como are in good form, despite their late equaliser suffered against Venezia last time out. Before losing to Roma, Como managed to get wins against two of Serie A's big teams, Napoli and Fiorentina. Fàbregas' squad are determined to keep this positive streak going by taking points away from home with their brave and clinical play style. Como will be looking to make it difficult for AC Milan and they will work hard to take points to help them climb the table.
Fàbregas' words ahead of the game: "We will be brave in every match, and we always need to have personality, otherwise we won't be able to use our play style properly. I have asked the boys to be creative and to play with personality. For the first time, I have everyone available, 26 players who have trained together and are committed to help the team."
