The first win of our Champions League 2024/25 campaign. It wasn't given, it wasn't boring. It was well done and well deserved. The Rossoneri beat Club Brugge on a special night: we won 3-1 thanks to a brace from Reijnders and a goal from Pulisic and we also got to see Francesco Camarda's debut. Let's get into the stats from the win at San Siro on matchday 3:

  • After four defeats in a row, AC Milan have won in a European competition for the first time since 14 March 2024 (3-1 against Slavia Praha).
  • AC Milan have scored three goals from active play to win a Champions League game for the first time since 2 November 2022 (4-0 against Salzburg).
  • Tijjani Reijnders is the third Dutch player to have scored more than one goal for AC Milan in a Champions League game after Marco van Basten (four goals against Göteborg in November 1992) and Clarence Seedorf (brace against Shakhtar Donetsk in October 2007).
  • Christian Pulisic is the Serie A player with the highest number of goal involvements this season in all competitions: 24, 15 goals and 9 assists
  • At the age of 16 years and 226 days, Francesco Camarda is the youngest player for AC Milan to make a Champions League appearance, as well as the youngest Italian player in the whole competition - breaking the record held by Moise Kean with Juventus (16 years and 268 days).
