AC Milan make contact over deal for Valencia star | OneFootball

A member of the midfield ranks at La Liga outfit Valencia is attracting summer transfer interest from Italian heavyweights AC Milan.

That’s according to journalist Héctor Gómez, who points towards Javi Guerra as the player in question.

Youngster Guerra is for his part fresh off another productive campaign in the colours of the aforementioned Valencia.

All told, over the course of the La Liga season, the 22-year-old featured in all but two of Los Che’s fixtures.

Not only that, but he chipped in with a solid haul of three goals and three assists along the way.

And such exploits, as alluded to above, evidently did not go unnoticed on the part of those behind the scenes at San Siro.

As per a report from transfer insider Héctor Gómez:

‘AC Milan called Javi Guerra a few days ago and the answer was clear: “Call Valencia!“ Milan have contacted Valencia and there have been initial conversations, but nothing has advanced yet.

‘Valencia expressed interest in renewing his contract, but as of today, he has no offer.’
