€5m fee & buyback clause: Details of Real Madrid youngster’s sale emerge

The finer details of the agreement set to take Real Madrid youngster Rafael Obrador to Benfica this summer have on Wednesday been revealed.
The name of defender Obrador has of course taken its place centre stage in the media chatter in Spain’s capital over the last 24 hours.
This comes after confirmation was forthcoming that the 21-year-old had been included in the ongoing negotiations between Real Madrid and Benfica, over Álvaro Carreras.
After the former offered their left-back talent up in part exchange for Carreras, Benfica opened to their own left-back’s sale.
And as alluded to above, a day on, the details of the agreement struck between the two clubs over Obrador have been revealed.
As per a report from market insider Fabrizio Romano:
‘Obrador, expected today in Lisbon for medical tests as Real Madrid authorized the fullback to travel. €5m initial transfer fee plus buy back clause for Real Madrid.’
