Ivorian forward Vakoun Bayo is set to embark on a new adventure in Italy, having signed with Udinese until June 2028.

Here are five things you should know about the Ivorian striker.

Born on January 10, 1997, in Daloa (Ivory Coast), Vakoun Bayo began his playing career with local club Stade Abidjan.
After three seasons wearing the jersey of Etoile Sportive du Sahel in Tunisia, he left Africa for Europe in the summer of 2018.

He has played in several leagues, including Slovakia (Dunajska Streda), Scotland (Celtic Glasgow), France (Toulouse), Belgium (Gent and Charleroi), and England (Watford).
Before his Italian adventure, he had a rather convincing spell with the Hornets, scoring 21 goals and providing 4 assists in 109 appearances.
He has played 5 matches for the Elephants, finding the net against Chad in November 2024 during a CAN qualifier.
