The 2026 World Cup qualifiers (Africa zone) resume this week with matchdays 7 and 8 across the nine groups. Foot Africa brings you the latest on Group B.

Group B remains one of the most hotly contested in these qualifiers. Three teams are still battling for the top spot: DR Congo (13 points), closely followed by Senegal (12 points) and Sudan (12 points).

The clashes between Senegal and Sudan, as well as DR Congo and Senegal, will be decisive in determining the group winner and the coveted ticket to the grand stage. These are matchups you simply can’t miss.
