The Premier League season is over and all eyes are on the FA Cup final between Manchester United and Man City.

It could be the last game for our manager as well as a several players, with the team looking to prove itself after a disappointing Premier League and European campaign.

The match is a rematch of last year’s FA Cup final, which unfortunately saw our neighbours come away with a 2-1 victory as they won the second of their three titles that season.

Pep Guardiola’s side are looking to complete the double this time around, after already beating United twice in the league this term.

However, former United and France striker Louis Saha believes City will only win one piece of silverware this season, because he is backing the Reds to defy the odds and win the FA Cup.

Speaking to Betfred, as cited by Dazn, Saha stressed that United ended their league campaign on a high with back-to-back wins.

The former France international hopes that momentum can push United to topple their rivals, who go to Wembley as favourites.

“I know that Manchester United played well against Newcastle United and Brighton, but Manchester City also come into the game in really great form after securing the Premier League title,” Saha said.

“However, the fact they have those two victories under their belt means that they can approach the final positively after showing a bit of consistency and it’s a good opportunity to beat the best team in the country or even Europe.

“So many players need a shake-up, but some of the players have done really well lately, which is a good sign, and if they win, the manager will be able to grasp what went wrong for them this season and it could be something to learn from if he remains in his post.

“I think Manchester United will win on penalties after a 2-2 draw.”

United required a penalty shootout to beat Coventry City in the FA Cup semi-final, which could mean even more drama at Wembley for the Reds.

I’ll take it if it means we come away with the trophy.
