It is grotesque the way the media have covered this, trying to make out, especially with Manchester United, that whoever wins it will then have had a brilliant season. Simply airbrushing out the fact that they have been the fourth/fifth worst Premier League team this season.

Only saved from relegation due to how woeful the three promoted Premier League teams were.

I suppose we have to look on the bright side in these kind of extreme situations, just how devastated the losing fanbase will be, hopefully the Manchester United one, for me anyway.
