It’s sure to be a historic evening for Celtic FC Women (Tues, Oct 8), as they take to the pitch tonight for the first time at New Douglas Park on the biggest stage of all – the UEFA Women’s Champions League.
Celtic FC Women v FC Twente kicks off at 8pm and as Elena Sadiku’s side aim to get off to a flyer, here’s everything you need to know ahead of the clash.

Free parking is available on Caird Street, a five-minute walk from the stadium.
Parking is also available in the underground car park at the Morrisons supermarket, New Park Street, at a cost of £3.
Please note, there is no public parking available at the stadium itself. All stadium car parking is for players, staff, guests and UEFA match officials only.
The Sports Bar at New Douglas Park will be open from 5.30pm on a first come, first served basis, for supporters to enjoy some pre-match drinks.
Fans can also purchase food, take a selfie with our mascot Hailey (between 6pm and 7.30pm) and pick up official Celtic merchandise at our pop-up retail stand.
New Douglas Park will be open for supporters from 75 minutes before kick-off.

Reigning Dutch champions FC Twente are the most successful women’s team in the Netherlands, having won nine league titles.
The Vrouwen Eredivisie champions qualified for this season’s UEFA Women’s Champions League group stages with wins over Cardiff City (7-0), Valur (5-0) and ZNK Osijek (8-2) on aggregate.
With four goals in qualifying, FC Twente’s No.10, Kayleigh van Dooren, will be one for the Ghirls to keep a close eye on tonight.
Not only is the clash the Ghirls’ first ever UEFA Women’s Champions League Group Stage game, the first ever Celtic Women’s programme has been produced to mark this historic occasion.
A special collectors’ item, priced £2, is the first in a set of three individual programmes for the Ghirls’ Group B games.
