The Congolese striker has no intention of joining the Saudi Pro League for now.
Yoane Wissa
Yoane Wissa has recently attracted strong interest from several Saudi clubs. Drawn by his speed, power, and clinical finishing, these teams tried to lure the Congo international with generous offers. But the player is prioritizing Europe.
Linked with Middle Eastern giants, the Brentford striker has not responded to the Saudi overtures. According to the English press, Yoane Wissa is not interested in an immediate move to Saudi Arabia, despite some highly attractive financial proposals. Clubs such as Al Nassr and Al Hilal have been mentioned. But the forward is prioritizing stability and an ambitious sporting project in Europe, where his stock remains high.
After scoring 20 goals and providing 4 assists in all competitions during the 2024-2025 season, the Congolese striker shone and played a key role for the Bees, especially alongside Bryan Mbeumo. These statistics and performances have not gone unnoticed by scouts from Ligue 1, Serie A, and the Bundesliga. But among all his suitors, the 28-year-old only has eyes for Newcastle for now.
Even though Yoane Wissa has returned to training with Brentford, his future is still to be decided. For the moment, the English club's management has promised the Congolese international they will let him go as soon as they find and sign his replacement.
