Yeremay Hernandez had been linked with clubs including Napoli, Como, Chelsea and RC Strasbourg, but Deportivo La Coruna announced he is staying.
The tricky winger can play on the left or right wing and was seen as one of the potential heirs to Khvicha Kvaratskhelia at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.
On top of that option, Como were also interested in letting him flourish in Serie A, while Chelsea had reportedly offered €13m.

However, in a rare show of strength on the transfer market, Deportivo La Coruna released a formal statement on their official website confirming that Yeremay Hernandez will not be sold in the January window.
He has a contract to June 2030 and the statement confirmed Deportivo La Coruna received “numerous proposals,” but that they had agreed to continue working together.
He contributed eight goals and three assists in 19 games this season.
There is believed to be a €20m release clause in his contract.
