A dominant display sees FC Barcelona kick things off in South Korea with a big win. Against FC Seoul, the Catalan giants looked sharp and played some great football. With this victory, Barcelona just have one more preseason game left to play in Asia.

With a 7-3 victory, La Blaugrana saw many players get on the scoresheet. Lamine Yamal and Ferran Torres both got a brace in this game, whereas Robert Lewandowski, Andreas Christensen, and Gavi all contributed as well.

Here are the player ratings for Hansi Flick’s team.

Player Ratings:

Joan Garcia: 7.5

Yet another solid performance from the Spaniard. While he did concede two goals, he could not do much about either. His ball-playing qualities, however, were on full display during this game.

Jules Kounde: 7.5

A solid presence on the right flank, Jules Kounde added good width and provided reliable cover for Lamine Yamal as well.

Ronald Araujo: 7.0

The Uruguayan defender showed no weakness in terms of his ball playing and was solid defensively as well.

Pau Cubarsi: 7.0

Much more confident on the ball and did not make any notable mistakes this game. His passing was sharp and he was always a dependable outlet for the team when it came to progressing the ball.

Alejandro Balde: 7.5

Always eager to try something on the left flank, irrespective of what the chance of success looks like. Added energy and speed, something that FC Seoul has trouble dealing with.

Frenkie de Jong: 8.0

Brilliant in possession and also more than dependable when he is not on the ball as well. Great display.

Pedri: 8.5

Simply the beating heart of this team, he made sure possession remained with Barcelona and was always more than reliable whenever he was involved in any play.

Lamine Yamal: 9.5

Much better than his last performance, and Lamine Yamal reminded the world once again why he is the club’s new number ‘10’. With two elite goals, one rebounded shot that helped Lewandowski score, and many more moments of magic, that was a top performance from the winger.

Dani Olmo: 8.0

Slightly inconsistent with his decision making and his touches. Made great use of certain situations while he wasted the potential of other great chances.

Raphinha: 7.5

Not as involved as the other Barcelona forwards, but did what he had to do with full determination. From his constant running to making tackles when necessary to cover for Balde, Raphinha did whatever was required.

Robert Lewandowski: 8.0

His elite positioning continues to get him into good goalscoring situations. Converted a close range effort following Lamine Yamal’s rebounded shot and did well to link up with his teammates.

Substitutes:

Wojciech Szczesny: 6.5

The Polish goalkeeper was not tested much by the South Korean side.

Hector Fort: 5.5

Struggled a bit and it was clear to see that he was having issues at times both offensively and defensively.

Andreas Christensen: 8.5

Scored a sensational goal from distance early on in the second half. Apart from that, he was defensively very solid as well.

Gerard Martin: 7.0

Solid in defense, but was never tested much by the opposition either.

Jofre Torrents: 7.5

Looked sharp on the left flank, and made overlapping runs whenever possible to support his winger.

Marc Casado: 7.5

A reliable deputy for Gavi in the midfield, Marc Casado added great reliability and dependability.

Gavi: 8.5

Brilliant in the Barcelona midfield and commanded it like a true captain. Scored a great goal as well with a sharp turn and a strong finish with his weak foot.

Roony Bardghji: 7.0

Almost never puts a foot wrong, although he did almost gift a goal to the other team, Roony Bardghji seems like the real deal.

Fermin Lopez: 7.0

Sharp in the central areas and connected play well with his teammates.

Marcus Rashford: 7.5

Looked like he wanted to make an impact and was eager to help out the team. Clear to see that he still needs more time to adjust. Managed to get an assist near the end of the game.

Ferran Torres: 8.5

Scored a great goal and was constantly eager to do more. Near the end of the game, scored another goal with a composed finish.

Toni Fernandez: 6.5

Came close to scoring, and should have done better. Still a promising cameo from the youngster.
