Fabrizio Romano reports Xavi Simons has decided to leave RB Leipzig in the summer after the team failed to qualify for the Champions League.

Simons only permanently moved to Leipzig at the beginning of the year when his loan from PSG was made permanent, however, his time in Saxony will be coming to an end.

Sky Germany reports that Leipzig will hope to receive around €80m for the Dutch international, but that is unlikely to happen due to his recent performances. What is clear is that Leipzig wants to generate a profit on the €50m plus add-ons they spent earlier this year.

Clubs from the Premier League, as well as Bayern Munich, are aware of the 22-year-old’s situation.

Simons will not be the only one to leave Leipzig in the summer, striker Benjamin Seško is another name that is constantly linked with a move away from the Red Bull Arena this summer.
