Real Madrid head coach Xabi Alonso called upon the talents of three of the club’s standout young talents for his first day of pre-season training on Monday.

That’s according to Blancos insider Javier Rodríguez Pascual, who has provided an insight into the latest developments behind the scenes in Spain’s capital.

Preparations for the 2025/26 campaign were kicked into gear at Valdebebas early this morning.

After being afforded a well-deserved rest on the back of their campaign at the Club World Cup, Real Madrid’s squad reconvened for medical tests, and their first pre-season training session.

A whole host of headline names were spotted reporting for duty over the course of the morning, including the likes of Trent Alexander-Arnold, Federico Valverde and Kylian Mbappé.

And as alluded to above, upon taking to the pitches at Valdebebas, such players were joined by a trio of fresh faces.

This comes amid confirmation on the part of the aforementioned Javier Rodríguez Pascual that academy talents Manuel Ángel, Diego Aguado and Daniel Yáñez were called up to senior training by Xabi Alonso.
