LASK ahead on Saturday

Our second away game in the new ADMIRAL Frauen Bundesliga season will take us back to Linz. The match against LASK will kick off at noon on Saturday 30 August at the OÖFV association grounds – the match has been brought forward to 12:00 noon.

LASK were promoted a year ago as champions of the 2nd Women's Bundesliga and subsequently established themselves in the Austrian top flight – finishing the qualifying group in fifth place last season. However, the current season has not gone quite as planned so far, and they are yet to pick up any points, although they put in a very respectable performance in last week's 0-1 defeat to Austria Vienna.

Positive memories

Not only was Pavlovic's team's start to the season impressive, but so too was our predecessors' FC Bergheim's last away trip to LASK. Tina Krassnig and Christina Gierzinger – who, like many of their Bergheim teammates, now play for us – played a key role in the 2-0 victory in November.

As usual, the match will be broadcast on ÖFB TV.

The match against LASK will be the most difficult one so far this season because they have performed strongly in the first two matchdays. We are just at the beginning of a journey, but we are heading in the right direction! We are travelling to Linz with a lot of confidence and positive energy.
