Women | National team call-ups in June and July 2025

As the start of the UEFA Women's EURO 2025 draws ever closer, this is the ideal time to highlight all of the Juventus Women First Team players called up to represent their respective national teams during the tournament.

Fourteen Juventus Women players will be involved in the European Championships. Whilst Lysianne Proulx has also been called up by the Canadian national team to play two friendly matches, one of which took place on Saturday 28 June 2025.

Below are the details of the call-ups.

JUVENTUS WOMEN: PLAYERS CALLED UP

CANADA - 1 player (Lysianne Proulx): the Canadian has been at a training camp in Toronto since 19 June, with her national team involved in two friendly matches against Costa Rica and the United States respectively.

DENMARK - 1 player (Amalie Vangsgaard): The Danish forward officially joined her national team's training camp in Elsinore, Denmark on 23 June, to better prepare for the European Championship Group C matches against Germany, Poland and Sweden.

FRANCE - 1 player (Pauline Peyraud-Magnin): France's training camp, as they aim to win this summer's European Championships, began on 11 June. In the run-up to the competition - in which they will face England, the Netherlands and Wales in Group D - the French women played friendly matches against Belgium and Brazil.

ITALY - Eight players (Chiara Beccari, Lisa Boattin, Barbara Bonansea, Michela Cambiaghi, Cristiana Girelli, Martina Lenzini, Cecilia Salvai, Eva Schatzer): the Italian squad, consisting of eight Bianconere players, left yesterday Friday 27 June, to travel to the European Championships in Switzerland which begin in July. Italy, drawn in Group B, will face Belgium, Portugal and Spain. It should also be noted that Valentina Bergamaschi and Martina Rosucci have been added to the squad for the remaining preparation period. In the event of injury or illness, the rules allow for changes to be made to the list of called up players until midnight of the day before the competition begins.

NORWAY - 1 player (Mathilde Harviken): On Sunday 22 June, Norway faced Sweden in a friendly match in Oslo in order to prepare for the European Championships in which they will play in Group A against Finland, Iceland and Switzerland.

SWEDEN - 1 player (Hanna Bennison): the same goes for the Swedish national team that faced Norway in a friendly match, before officially starting its journey to the European Championships where it has been drawn in Group C and will face Denmark, Germany and Poland.

SWITZERLAND - 2 players (Viola Calligaris, Alisha Lehmann): there are two Juventus Women players representing the Swiss national team, host of these European Championships, who took part in the friendly match against the Czech Republic before opening the tournament against Norway on the 2nd July. Finland and Iceland will be their other two group stage opponents.
