Wolves forward Matheus Cunha has been banned for two games and fined £80,000 by the Football Association.
Ugly scenes at full-time of the home loss to Ipswich earlier in December saw Rayan Ait-Nouri shown a second yellow card and Cunha involved in a confrontation with Ipswich staff.
The following day manager Gary O'Neill was sacked for the result, with Vitor Pereira appointed as his successor two days later.
Cunha was seen confronting members of Ipswich's security team after his side had fallen to a last-gasp loss at Molineux.
The FA were quick to charge the forward. A statement on Tuesday read: "Matheus Cunha has been charged with misconduct following the Premier League match between Wolverhampton Wanderers and Ipswich Town on Saturday, 14 December.
"The forward allegedly acted in an improper manner after the final whistle. He has until Thursday, 19 December, to provide a response."
Cunha was expected to be banned ahead of the subsequent trip to Leicester, but ended up playing and scoring in wins over the Foxes and then Manchester United, before being taken off at half-time at Tottenham with an injury.
He will now miss the home visit of Nottingham Forest and the FA Cup third round trip to Bristol City.
