Roma are not the only ones in pursuit of Richard Rios of Palmeiras.
The Giallorossi are working to narrow the gap between Palmeiras’ request and their offer in order to finalize the deal for the Colombian midfielder.

Negotiations with Palmeiras are complicated by the issue of the player’s rights.
The Giallorossi must accelerate the process to beat the competition.
As reported by Gianluigi Longari of Sportitalia, in addition to Roma’s initial offer, the Brazilians also rejected offers from the Premier League.
Wolverhampton Wanderers offered €25 million: Palmeiras turned the offer down.
The same fate befell Nottingham Forest’s €26 million offer, the highest bid Palmeiras received so far.
