Wolsburg have confirmed the appointment of Ralph Hasenhüttl as Nico Kovač’s replacement.
Kovač’s two-year spell at the Volkswagen Arena was ended on Sunday following a third straight Bundesliga defeat to Augsburg.

That same day, Die Wölfe moved quickly to announce the arrival of former Southampton manager Hasenhüttl on a ‘long-term’ contract.
The Austrian has been out of work since being sacked by the now Championship outfit in November 2022 prior to his Bundesliga return.
He previously took charge of FC Ingolstadt and RB Leipzig in the German top flight, leading the latter to a runner-up spot in the 2016/17 season.
Hasenhüttl will be formally unveiled on Monday afternoon before taking first-team training the following day.
