Brendan Rodgers this afternoon rattled a few cages amongst the support when he stated that the seemingly outgoing Adam Idah will be staying put, for the time being at least until at least one replacement is brought in to plug the gap of his absence.

The Celtic manager also praised his bosses to further antagonise the support, but Brendan is a wily character and knows fine well what he’s doing.

He knows that the club are in deep negotiations with Anderlecht for Danish striker Kasper Dolberg, and he wants no messing about which is the norm from our delegation when it comes to recruiting new players, especially ones that cost a pretty penny, enough to match the top payout on best live dealer casinos. Funnily enough the same folk had no problem negotiating the impending exit of Adam Idah, but Brendan has put his foot down on the sale of the Irish international which will no doubt have enraged the money men.

Brendan has most likely, like the rest of us had enough of their shenanigans, and is stamping his authority knowing full well that his bosses won’t want to risk his and subsequently the supporters wrath.

If we do indeed fail to land Kasper Dolberg or any other targets for that matter, then there will be hell to pay, that’s pretty apparent. Yet Brendan Rodgers throughout his media conference today continually refers to the club going to be busy, hinting at multiple signings to add to the two new players in the building today.

It’s going to be a very interesting few days on both the transfer business and football fronts with the window closing on Monday at 7pm and the small matter of the first Glasgow Derby of the season on Sunday, which will be live on Sky Sports.
