Millwall are believed to be one of the clubs of interest to Turki Alalshikh as he looks to make his mark on football in the UK.

The Saudi businessman is well-known in sport following his involvement in boxing, with his financial power key to putting on many of the biggest fights we have seen in recent years, including several in England and involving British fighters.

Now, it seems he is keen on getting involved in football, with recent reports claiming he could invest in Millwall.

Nevertheless, they create a hostile atmosphere at The Den, and it is part of the appeal of the club.

In the modern game, it’s sad to say that this makes them different to most, and Turki Alalshikh will recognise just how electric Millwall could be if they build momentum and start picking up positive results on a consistent basis.

If things do go well, visiting The Den could be quite the experience for Turki Alalshikh - along with visiting supporters.

Another factor that will appeal to Turki Alalshikh is the location of the club in terms of developing and attracting talent.

Firstly, it’s generally easier to sign players when you are based in London, but it’s also become huge for the academy.

Over the years, Millwall have failed to maximise this, with Crystal Palace said to have been the main beneficiaries of the young talent in the capital, and especially South London.
