Dusan Vlahovic was afforded a rest for just the second time in his last six Serie A matches in the final quarter of Juventus’s 2-0 victory away against Udinese on Saturday evening, which gave a clue as to who the replacement Bianconeri centre-forward could be in the absence of Arkadiusz Milik.

Vlahovic was substituted off after 71 minutes of Juve’s 2-0 victory over Udinese, with the Bianconeri already two ahead after first-half strikes from Nicolo Savona and Khephren Thuram, although the latter ultimately went down as an own-goal.
Francisco Conceicao came on for Vlahovic, but the Portugal international assumed his regular position out on the wing.
Instead, it was Kenan Yildiz who deputised as the centre-forward for the final 25 minutes of the Udinese game.
The Türkiye international moved up top, Teun Koopmeiners played in the advanced midfield role, and Conceicao and Timothy Weah occupied the wings until the USMNT international was replaced by Samuel Mbagula in a like-for-like swap.
