Teenage Academy goalkeeper Max Hudson was named amongst the City substitutes for Wednesday's Champions League trip to Juventus.
The 17-year-old was named on the bench alongside experienced German star Stefan Oretga Moreno for the clash at the Allianz Stadium.
Hudson is a Wales Under-18 international who hails from Wrexham and joined City at Under-Eight level.
Having then progressed through our Academy age groups, Max was this season elevated into our Under-18 age group working under manager Oliver Reiss.
To date Max has made four league appearances so far this season in our Under-18 Premier League North campaign.
He also featured for our Under-21s in last month’s EFL Trophy trip to Lincoln City.
More recently, Max also played the full 90 minutes in last Friday’s FA Youth Cup third round clash at home to Crystal Palace where he helped City record a 1-0 win.
Now comes another incredible opportunity to learn and further hone his craft by working alongside Pep’s first team in one of our biggest games of the season to date.
