There aren’t expected to be too many surprise inclusions in the Azzurri squad, although there are a few injury concerns to deal with.
Former Bologna centre-back Riccardo Calafiori, who has started in three out of four international fixtures this season, remains out of action with Arsenal, while Federico Chiesa’s return to the national team squad is still a way off after his latest injury with Liverpool.
Matteo Gabbia was the only Milan inclusion in the last Italy squad, but he has missed the last three matches with a calf issue.
There could, however, be a return to the group for Nicolo Barella, who sat out of the last international fixtures while he had an operation on his nose.
