Serie A side Milan have reached an agreement to appoint new sporting director Igli Tare.
According to a report by Daniele Longo, Milan have signed a three-year contract with Igli Tare as he is set to become their new sporting director.
The former Lazio director is expected to start working immediately with Technical Director Geoffrey Moncada on new signings and player sales.
Tare’s contract is set to be either a full three-year one or a guaranteed two years with the option of a third. The Albanian sporting director will be handed his first task of finding a new head coach for the club with the options looming between Vincenzo Italiano and Massimiliano Allegri.
Tare will also have to oversee the developing situation between Manchester City and Tijjani Reijnders as the Premier League club is set to enter the bidding process for the player soon. He will also have to deal with the contract renewals of key players like Theo Hernandez and Mike Maignan as they both expire next year.
