West Ham could make a move for Chelsea midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, if Mohammed Kudus agrees a transfer away from the club this summer.

Graham Potter’s side have rejected an offer of £50m from Tottenham Hotspur for Kudus, though the North Londoners are expected to return with an improved bid. West Ham are open to the sale of the Ghana international in a bid to raise funds for their summer recruitment.

One name under consideration is Dewsbury-Hall. The midfielder has failed to earn a regular role at Chelsea since joining the Blues from Leicester City last summer. He started just two games in the Premier League in 2024/25 and totalled just 259 minutes of league action.

According to talkSPORT, West Ham are weighing up a move for Dewsbury-Hall with the windfall expected from Kudus’s sale. The Hammers hope the prospect of regular first-team football can persuade the 26-year-old to leave Chelsea.

Dewsbury-Hall joined Chelsea last summer after impressing during Leicester’s promotion campaign under Enzo Maresca.

He scored 12 goals and provided 14 assists in the Championship the previous season, before following the Italian manager from the King Power Stadium to Stamford Bridge.

Dewsbury-Hall’s future is set to be decided following the FIFA Club World Cup. He scored during the group stage win over Benfica, with Chelsea due to face Brazilian side Fluminense in the semi-finals on Tuesday.
