FLW has asked AI to create a new Birmingham City chant, and it's interesting to say the least.

Birmingham City have begun the new Championship campaign positively, with a draw at home to newly-relegated Ipswich Town and a late away winner to Blackburn Rovers.

Fans and pundits alike have tipped Birmingham to have an exciting season after winning the League One title and securing an immediate return to the second tier.

Not only were they crowned champions of League One last season, they did so by breaking the EFL points record in the process, amassing an outrageous 111 points across 46 games.

This summer, they have continued to further strengthen their record-breaking side, bringing in the likes of Kyogo Furuhashi, Tommy Doyle, Marvin Ducksch and Demarai Gray.

Their season opener at home to Ipswich, by all accounts, seemed as though it would finish with three points for the Blues, but a late controversial handball in the penalty area from Lyndon Dykes saw George Hirst convert from 12 yards and snatch a point for the Tractor Boys.

A 2-1 victory over Sheffield United in the League Cup on Wednesday followed, with Birmingham's most recent result being a 2-1 win on Saturday away to Blackburn, with Dykes this time prodding in the winner in stoppage time, sending Blues fans into raptures.

Supporters of the club have been in fine voice so far this season, so we asked AI - specifically ChatGPT - to come up with a new chant for Birmingham fans to sing. Make of it what you will...

AI creates a new chant for Birmingham City fans to sing from the terraces

AI software is becoming increasingly powerful and sophisticated by the day, so asking it to come up with a new, original chant for Birmingham fans to sing, you'd expect it to come back with something to come back with something catchy, at the least.

Everyone has their own music tastes, so I will let you decide for yourselves:

"Keep Right On – All Night Long"

(To the rhythm of a stomping terrace chant – clap between lines for full effect)

Oh, we’re the Blues — and we don’t care!

From Tilton Road to anywhere!

Rain or shine, we're standing tall,

At St. Andrews, we’ve seen it all!

Villa cry, but we just laugh,

They ain't got half our working class!

We bleed blue, we fight strong,

Keep right on — all night long!

We think this could catch on if sung in the right tune in unison, and could very well potentially rival Keep Right On as the club's main anthem, with an increased modern twist.

Birmingham City fans will be hoping to have a lot to sing about throughout this season

Having started the new season with a draw and a late win, Chris Davies' side will be keen to kick on and take the Championship by the scruff of the neck.

The Blues have proved early on that they are not here to just make up the numbers, but to be real contenders for a return to the Premier League for the first time in 15 years.

With Christoph Klarer and Phil Neumann giving them a solid defensive base, Tomoki Iwata and Seung-Ho Paik providing a strong core in midfield, Furuhashi and Ducksch to score and provide the goals to fire them up the table and Blues fans in full voice, no side will be looking forward to a trip to St Andrews this season.
