Levi Colwill has revealed how Chelsea are going to approach their final day showdown with Nottingham Forest on Sunday.
The Blues head to the City Ground for their final game of the season knowing they must win to guarantee their return to the Champions League.
Chelsea currently occupy the fifth and final Champions League place, and could qualify with a draw although that would require other results to go in their favour.
The Blues currently sit just one point ahead of Forest and have only beaten them once since their return to the Premier League in 2022.
That was a 3-2 victory at the City Ground last season, and Chelsea would certainly take a repeat of that on Sunday.
The onus is likely to be on Chelsea to break Forest down, and Nuno Espirito Santo’s men are very happy not having much of the ball.

Chelsea’s task will be that bit harder as they have no striker available, and it will be interesting to see what Enzo Maresca does after Tyrique George struggled down the middle against Manchester United.
Colwill, who is likely to start in the heart of the defence has spoken about how Chelsea will need to limit Forest’s counter attacking threat.
“It will be a tough game, a tough atmosphere, but we know what we need to do,” he told Chelsea’s official website.
“They are going to be a tough team to play against. We are going to have to work really hard to break them down, but when we do create chances we have to score them, and not give them any chance to counter-attack.
“They are going to push harder than they might normally because they have to win too, and we have to be smart and pick our moments when to exploit that, and times when to sit off and let them give us what they’ve got. We just have to find the balance to make sure we win the game.”
After the showdown with Forest the Blues head to Poland to take on Real Betis in the Conference League final on Wednesday.
