Clashes between Arsenal and Chelsea are often spicy affairs but Nicolas Jackson took it to another level in Tuesday’s 5-0 defeat.
The visitors were trailing through an early Leandro Trossard goal before their night threatened to go from bad worse when Jackson fouled Takehiro Tomiyasu.

Replays showed the Senegal international appearing to catch his opposite number on the ankle with a studs-up challenge early in the first half.
Remarkably, the incident was sent to a VAR review which deemed that Jackson was allowed to carry on without so much as a warning.
Was it the right call or a lucky escape?
