Juventus are working on several crucial fronts as contract renewals, potential arrivals, and unresolved situations define the club’s summer business. According to Tutto Juve, a key development is the agreement reached with Federico Gatti for a contract extension that will keep the defender in Turin until 2030. Journalist Orazio Accomando reports that the official signing is scheduled to take place after Juventus conclude their participation in the Club World Cup.

While the club is securing its defensive core, uncertainty lingers over the future of Dusan Vlahovic. As reported by Bianconera News and Spazio J, the Serbian striker has declined a lucrative offer from Al-Ahli in Saudi Arabia—worth €60 million over three seasons—preferring instead to let his Juventus contract run down. This stance enables him to negotiate more freely with European sides, yet it puts Juventus in a difficult position, with a risk of losing a valuable asset for free. The tension is heightened by reports indicating that the relationship between Vlahovic and the club has cooled, and the attacker’s high wages complicate any potential transfer. Juventus leadership are eager to avoid the scenario of losing Vlahovic on a free, but as of now, the striker’s intentions remain unchanged.

Turning to reinforcements, the Bianconeri have intensified efforts for striker Jonathan David. Fabrizio Romano, speaking to Tutto Juve, confirms that contacts between Juventus and David’s camp have been ongoing throughout the week, including a meeting at the start of the week. The club is weighing the financial viability of the deal, given that even as a free agent, David’s salary and signing bonus demands are substantial. Juventus have yet to give the decisive green light, as any agreement will also hinge on their internal strategy and budget constraints. Other European clubs are keenly following David’s status, suggesting the outcome could shift quickly depending on Juventus’ final decision.

In addition to negotiating with David, Juventus are closely monitoring his fitness after the Canadian international suffered an injury during the latter stages of Canada’s Gold Cup elimination against Guatemala. Initial medical reports, relayed by Bianconera News, do not indicate a serious issue, but the club remains cautious and has made contact with Canada’s medical staff for updates.

Strengthening the defensive flanks also remains a priority. Multiple sources, including JNetwork24 and La Gazzetta dello Sport, highlight Juventus’ concrete interest in Wesley, Flamengo’s promising right-back. The club’s technical director Damien Comolli has reportedly stepped up talks to reach an agreement with Flamengo, whose asking price stands at €25 million. Juventus observers recently attended Wesley’s full 90-minute display in the Club World Cup match against Bayern Munich, further underlining the club’s intent.

These contractual negotiations and transfer pursuits come as part of a broader squad overhaul, with management underlining the need for renewal and long-term planning. The club will be hoping that the coming weeks bring clarity, particularly regarding the futures of Gatti, Vlahovic, and their main attacking target.
