Juventus talent Kenan Yildiz scored his first Champions League goal, emulating club legend Alessandro Del Piero, while USMNT star Weston McKennie doubled the lead against PSV before the break.
Juventus scored two goals in the opening 27 minutes of their first Champions League game of the campaign against PSV at the Allianz Stadium in Turin on Tuesday.
Turkish talent Yildiz opened the account at minute 21 with his first Champions League goal. It was a curler into the top far corner, reminiscent of Del Piero’s trademark strikes.
Ironically, Del Piero scored his first Champions League goal in similar fashion in September 1995, in a 3-1 away win at Borussia Dortmund.
American midfielder McKennie doubled the lead for the Bianconeri at minute 27 with a tap-in goal after a nice move from Nico Gonzalez on the right flank.
