Micah Richards believes former Chelsea winger Arjen Robben was underrated and one of the best left footed wingers to play in the Premier League.

Robben arrived at Chelsea from Dutch side PSV Eindhoven in the summer of 2004 for £12m and made an instant impact at the club.

Although he had to wait until October of that year to make his debut due to an injury suffered in pre season, he played a major part in the club winning their first Premier League title in 50 years.

His wing play was mesmerising at times and what he could do with a football was amazing, it’s just a shame he only spent three seasons at the club, with injuries meaning he made less appearances than he should have done.

In total the Dutchman made 106 appearances for the club, winning two Premier League titles, two League Cups, and the FA Cup.

Richards believes Robben was amazing and described what he could with a football as “not normal.”
