There is one transfer situation that Chelsea are being absolutely silent in right now, but they could well pull another Mykhailo Mudryk. And by that, I mean another transfer hijack.

And not just any old transfer hijack, but one from London rivals Arsenal.

Although to be honest, this now seems hugely unrealistic to me, and Chelsea will find it tough to now compete with Arsenal for a player due to the fact that they are going to be title challengers next season, and they are also playing in the Champions League.

Arsenal leading for Calafiori

As you can see from his video above, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano says: “Arsenal are ahead for Riccardo Calafiori; they have presented their proposal to him along with the project, and he’s open to joining them. Chelsea wants to include players in the deal, so let’s see what happens.”

Chelsea hijacked Arsenal’s move for Mudryk, can they do it again for Calafiori? I highly doubt it.
