Omari Hutchinson has just scored for Ipswich in their game in against Huddersfield. It makes it 2-0 in a game where they only need a point in order to gain automatic promotion.
It was a classic Hutchinson goal – picking up the ball on the half turn in the middle, a slaloming run from the wing then a drilled finish. The keeper got a hand to it, but couldn’t keep it out. He had already played a role in Wes Burns’ first when he won the ball
It was the goal to all but seal promotion and a well deserved conclusion to a campaign which has seen him play an important role for a historic achievement for the Tractor Boys. There wasn’t a huge amount of expectation for him ahead of this season – he’s probably improved his prospects more than anyone else in the squad in the last 9 months.
